And now for your weekend update....

This weekend was fun.
Billy + Becca came over on Saturday to help Jason paint the nursery (I did my part by replenishing snacks, organizing 'Liv's stuff in her new bins + baskets, and lending a supervisory tone to Jason here and there - LOL). It was really kind and we appreciate their help so much - on top of that they offered to host a baby shower for us in early April - so it will be REALLY nice to see our friends (especially those we haven't seen since getting knocked-up all in one place before the little lady makes her debut).

Anyway, the nursery looks AMAZING so far. The next day Jason and I hung her mirrors, curtains, and organized her closet. Finishing touches still to come include: two wall shelves [still sourcing] for her iPod speakers and other decorative knick-knacks, crib mattress/bedding, changing table pad/cover, a couple more pieces of artwork - oh yes, and OLIVIA!!!

I hope to post some pictures later today of the three of them working on the baby's nursery. Then next weekend, we shall post the finished nursery (sans mattress).

Today I had my monthly appointment at the doctor's and my LAST blood test, namely, for gestational diabetes (I get the results tomorrow afternoon and will post the results accordingly - as always). I got to hear her heartbeat (*stronger than ever*) and my uterus and weight is looking good according to the Doc.
EXCITING NEWS: WE ARE OFFICIALLY INTO OUR THIRD TRIMESTER AND WILL NOT BE ATTENDING DOCTOR'S APPOINTMENTS EVERY TWO WEEKS!!!!

This Wednesday, is Jason's big ultrasound (I say Jason's since I'm pretty apathetic whether we do a 3D or not). Or, as I like to say, we can see whose nose and lips Olivia generally has! Thursday, Olivia and I will spend Valentine's Day alone...and this weekend my parents are in town so we will get to see them briefly of Sunday.

That's it on the homefront.
Busy busy busy as Papa + I strive to complete our 'nesting'.

xoxo
